Greatest Friend - the falseness of social media and cliques
lyrics
Cold outside but warm within
Welcome to my den of sin
Another new face to love to hate
Another dark shade of blood to taste
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
This one's lovely full of shame
Watch for that one he's insane
Keep your cards tight to your chest
Cos here's the one that I hate best
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
(Ooooh) you're my greatest friend
(Ooooh) with me to the end
Empty heads go nodding by
They love it when you really cry
Spill the beans and dish the lie
Fantasy will get us high
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
Never ending, ever friending
How does it feel, everything's real
In between you, I can feel you
Make me number one
Put me in your ivory tower
Let me feel your primal power
Only me and only him
And all the rest cannot come in
And let me stroke your ego heart
Because you know we'll never part
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
(Piano Solo)
Listen up now I can tell you
All those guys you know so well
They laugh at you behind your back
They take your life and paint it black
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
(Ooooh) you're my greatest friend
(Ooooh) with me to the end
(Sax Solo)
Make me number one
Love those thoughts inside your head
Love them better when you're dead
Gonna climb up to your highest tower
And monetize your finest hour
I'll sacrifice your ego heart
Cos you know we'll never part
Say you're with me.
They're gonna love your disease.
(Ooooh) you're my greatest friend
(Ooooh) with me to the end
(Ooooh) you're my greatest friend
(Ooooh) with me to the end

Wonderful, beautiful, densely layered music. I'm glad I gave this album several headphone listens before commenting. It did not immediately strike a chord with me, but the more I listened the more I began to understand and appreciate how fantastically rich and deep the sound is. For fans of atmospheric and melodic prog, this is an excellent addition. Bass and drum work are exquisite! paliojen_black
